My comment: She's Arwen's sister, and joins the Fellowship to supplant Frodo's Ringbearer because she has visions that without her the Nazgûl will get him for sure. She saves Boromir at Parth Galen only to lose him at Cirith Ungol (after sticking more than a few pins in Shelob).

We used that in a game of Fill the Plothole a while back! Unfortunately I can't link to the post I'm thinking of because post limit. -_-

For Now She is Gone:
