Does a Sith/Dark Jedi Wookie sound too OP? by

There have been two records of Force-adept Wookies, both users of the Light Side, one canonical and one in the now uncanon EU: Gungee, a youngling who got his lightsaber after having his patience tested, and an adult Wookie Jedi Master who was so skilled that he got on the Jedi High Council.
But anyway, I can't decide if it's OP or not. There has not been an evil Force-using Wookie before. It could be Sueish, given their strength and long lives, combined with Force powers that would make him an unstoppable powerhouse in more ways than one. But at the same time, flaws and limitations might be creatable. It's a tricky situation... -

I mean if it is basically Hanharr (KotOR2) with Lightsabers (which was actually the original plan) then it could work. But keep in mind Lucas himself was the one who wanted to reign in the Wookie Jedi. It could be doable though.

I don't think Jedi - or Sith, particularly (are Dark Jedi a thing in the Disneyverse?) - are particularly prone to worrying about physical strength. Why bother, when you can use the Force to do anything? So I don't know that 'he's strong' would be... relevant, even.
Any Darksider is going to run the risks of Suvianness, given that they're powerful, self-centred, and evil. You have to watch out for it the same as you do with any other character of the type.

I think that's another name for Grey Jedi/Force users who don't particularly subscribe to one side or the other.

Thing that are trolling, according to you: actual trolling, opinions you don't like from anonymous sources, and now apparently actual helpful information from a non-anonymous source who you just don't like.

Erm, Ix? (And Scape, too?) by

I agree that pretty much everything about Orwell's appearance in our midst is pretty suspect, but I'm getting a little uncomfortable with you and Scape slapping down everything they say no matter how (un)reasonable, too. They could be lying about everything and plotting some sadistic long con, yes, but until such time as that is revealed, I'd prefer that we as a community err on the side of not being jerks. May I suggest simply keeping an eye on them? Believe me, I am. (And what's more Big Brother-ish than that, amirite?) The worst-case scenario is that they disappoint us down the line, at which point they'll most likely get banned pretty darn quick. In the meantime, as long as they're acting friendly, it doesn't hurt anybody to give them a chance to prove they're sincere, does it?
I mean, if anybody knows something I don't, feel free to correct me, but all I've got to go on right now is what's here on the Board. To me, while that's certainly enough to merit serious eyebrow-raising, it doesn't warrant blackballing them so aggressively.

They are apparently fallen/rogue Jedi who do follow the dark side but don't follow the Sith ideology. The name was coined by Timothy Zhan in 1991, so it's probably fallen into disuse in the new EU.
