Make a big castle, instead.
Voyd's dad has currently cut off his connection to the board, and more or less everywhere else. Only way to reach him now is through Skype or email...
Voyd's internet life is slowly being killed...
Probably could have put this in his Pathfinder thread, but that's rapidly going to the bottom of the front page, so I figured here was a better spot to ask. I sent him a message through Skype a few days ago, and haven't gotten anything back yet, so did I just miss something where we found out he can't get to Skype either?
As a new user, I am really confused by this. Anyone care to explain?
Here's some popcorn to eat while you read all the Important Stuff at the top of the page!
To answer your question: One of our other members' family has put some serious limitations on his Internet access. At the moment, I'm pretty sure he can only talk to us through email and Google Hangouts. :(
Make a big castle, instead.
That's right, I remembered that.
I've taken my notes, I've done my study. I've passed my test.
Instead of a castle filled with ghosts, the castle is a ghost.
I would make a comment on first-world problems, but in all seriousness, we are down a long-time member of this small community.
As K'eth said, Skype and e-mail are the only ways to contact Voyd now, and he needs all of our support to help him through this situation. As he's mentioned, his Skype is Voyd211 if you want to find him.
Being a recent returnbie, I don't know what the situation you're talking about is? If it's okay, can you tell me?
Voyd, who's been around for a decent while now, just got banned from the Internet (basically) by his dad. It's kinda like any other person vanishing from the Board because of RL reasons, only in this case some people reacted to it like it's the end of the world.
I'm pretty sure Karen passes basic reading comprehension, and K'eth's post didn't leave much to the imagination.
Her question was pretty clearly whether the 'situation' Skarm mentioned was an ongoing thing which people were expected to be aware of, and this was just the latest facet of. To which the answer seems to be: no, this is new, at least as far as the Board is aware.

His ability to use the computer was already limited, but now he is only allowed to communicate through email and Skype.
