I'm so excited for the new movie! I've been waiting ever since I heard it was in production and coming up with all sorts of theories! So happy!
It should be interesting to see where this goes. Also, the editing in that trailer was lovely. The pace was perfect and the music hit all the right beats.
The mix of horror, adventure, and comedy is what I absolutely loved from the first movie, and something I think they lost over time, so I am SO glad they're going back to basics. Or at least, they look like they are.
Gotta cover all my bases for when this new one comes out! :D

...Wikipedia notes that Will's son is named Henry, and that Brenton Thwaites (the cute guy in the trailer) is playing a guy named Henry. So you may be onto something there...
Looks like they're trying to go for the ghost story feel of the original, from the first few minutes. This, however, means nothing.
But I gotta say-
"You know this pirate?"
"Only by name."
is hilarious in light of the first film's
"You are without a doubt the worst pirate I've ever heard of."
"But you HAVE heard of me!"
I'm unreasonably excited for this movie.
