It's always like $2000 on eBay so I've never been able to afford it. I used all the money I'll ever own on these Murkrows. :(

In August 2003 (as far as I've been able to recall), a newbie by the name of Techno-Dann joined the PPC. He had a lot of enthusiasm and not that much experience- the PPC, then as now, was a welcoming enough space that this wasn't a problem.
That was fifteen years ago, now, and a lot has changed with me- and I can track a reasonable amount of it back to this community. Where did I start to understand transness? Here. Where did I learn about peoples' experiences? Here. Where did I get sucked into the chaos of NaNoWriMo? Here.
Here's to fifteen more years of chaos, writing, and discovery!
*hands out red pens and PPC bumper stickers to all*
The black-hole chocolate cake with red berries coating is there, black-hole coffee is there, and even some eclairs of both the stuff.
Thinking about anything else to celebrate?
Happy Boardiversary you wrinkly old bean!
Here's to thirty years, eh? Eh?
I will always remember running, very early on, into your DoSAT spinoff, and for all its brevity I've always felt it was very influential. It turned the PPC's tech support from one person into a team that could actually be used in stories, and started the journey of Makes-Things from 'shy techie who's scared of everyone' to the figure who came back from the dead in sheer denial. It also started off a trend of far more interesting department names, and I know some of mine were directly inspired by it - nothing as simple as 'Department of Mary Sues' here, thank you very much!
Here's to fifteen more years.

Happy Boardaversary, Delta Juliette! Dang, if I had come up with any ideas for your space AU, I could tell you about them as your Boardaversary present. But oh well.
Fifteen years - that's a lot. I hope I can even stay half as long. Bet you've survived quite a lot of stuff. Well, thanks for sticking around! I look up to you and your ideas. :)

*You got the PPC Bumper Sticker.
(Used because Cousin shortens to coz; I just happened to hit character limit in the subject line at the same time. ;P)
...I'm kidding, this place is actually pretty okay.
Welcome back! Your introductory gift is this limited edition Hawaiian Vacation Murkrow beanie baby. Only 200 were made, and I own 199 of them. You own the 200th!
"Welcome back?"
She's kind of been here for a while now. :P
I myself am a newbie, so ignore that!
Keep the plushie though. It's very cute.
I've got the halloween Eevee, with cape and top hat, so a tropical Murkrow is a lovely counterpart.

Here's to many more years!
