You might not know the name, but you know the work. Hashimoto was the screen writer for Akira Kurosawa. He wrote Throne Of Blood, Seven Samurai, Ikiru, Hidden Fortress, The Bad Sleep Well, and Rashomon.
He died of pneumonia, and we lost a titan of Japanese cinema. -
