I went by CedarCopse about a decade ago, and only wrote a few missions. But, seeing this still going really brings a tear to my eye.
I'm not sure if I'll write missions again. But, it might be fun to hang out here for a while. I remembered everything when I considered making a PPC agent for a crack!multiverese RP on invisionfree. I can't imagine that would be forbidden, or anything. But, I felt like saying 'hi' and seeing what everyone was up to. -

I vaguely recognize your name, I think! (Sorry - I am pretty sure, but a terrible memory with names.) I've been meaning to reply to this with a welcome-back for a few days, but it took a dire situation, such as having an assignment to procrastinate, to push the issue far enough. So: welcome back!
The other procrastination means I had thought was starting a good old-fashioned water fight, such as we used to have in the dead heat of summer. But if you recall them, perhaps you'd like to do the honors! ^^ -

I remember you! We went to a tiny Gathering in Chicago with Tungsten Monk, and your parents were really awesome to us. {= D
Your agent was Rowan Windfall, right? Did you do stuff with her besides the co-write with Tungsten, and if so, does that stuff still exist somewhere? I'd love to get it on the wiki if it's okay with you—all we currently have on her is the co-write. She doesn't even have a page, just a link from the Glossary of PPC Characters.
... What I am up to now is, in large part, being pseudo-librarian-and-historian on the wiki, by the way. ^_^; Still writing missions, too, just very sporadically.

Oh wow! I remember that!
Yeah, I'm not up to to much. I've been on and off roleplaying on a place called Whazzit: http://z15.invisionfree.com/Whazzit/index.php for like...seven years. It's amazing. The people there are pretty much all able to string a sentence together, and weirdness is just the way of life.
I thought about writing missions again, since I'm just bored when I'm not at work. We should do a thing together!
I'm totally ok with Rowen Windfall being on the wiki. I have a few more Agents I should probably squeak on there as well. -

Wow, that website. {X D I spent like an hour reading through the history and shiny descriptions and laughing. It's like if you took Pern and fed it a steady diet of crack and glitter with a generous saucing of snarky cynicism to balance it. I might just have to poke my head in there sometime. Do you use the same screen name there?
We should totally do a thing! What kind of thing would you like to do?
About Rowan, do you have her old missions online somewhere?

I'm Agent Avery Windfall on that board.
I have no idea what we should do. It's been so long since I've been in the PPC. Do you have any ideas? We could do a mission or a non-mission PPC fic.
Unfortunately, I moved through 3 computers since I was in the PPC last and don't have Rowen's missions anywhere. I had about two or three partially done, and a back story. But, they're gone. I'd have to re-write everything. I'm not sure if I want to go ahead with Rowan or write Avery's PPC days. -

Actually, perhaps this is as good an excuse as any to try to get the Dreamwidth RP site going again. If you still have access to the character journal hS dug up, you can probably use that, since Dreamwidth and LJ support OpenID. Or of course there's creating a new one. {= )
My current accounts are RC 999 and Jenni Robinson, for reference.

I definitely like the idea of an RP site. It'll make things easier with everyone's schedules. I think I'd like to re-write Rowen's back story, and write up Avery's. I'm a little confused at how to work the Dreamwidth site. But, I'm sure I'll figure it out.

But Agent Rowan's Livejournal still exists (it's amazing how much stuff is still out there on the Internet), and has the backstory. I glanced over it earlier (I was at work), and it looks pretty good - funny/quirky in good old PPC style.
Sadly for posterity, the only other thing you put up there is the cowrite with W_M. But that's okay! Agent Constance lost all her missions to my wife changing computers, too, so you're not alone.

I recognise your name indeed, although if pressed I would have thought you were around more recently than a decade ago...

I'm not quite sure. I know I was around the same time as W_M. But, I left earlier than her. So around 2004, probably. That's close to a decade.

What an interesting specimen! It seems to shift at random between a detached emotion and a mini-Boarder, to the extent that the area that would in typical cases be occupied by a head and neck appears to be entirely replaced with the emoticon for a person sticking out his or her tongue. Perhaps the experiment can be duplicated with ;) or XD, or even odd personal emoticon choices. Yes... there is science to be done here.

Er, not that I used to write missions, but I did read a lot of them, and it was pretty amazing to find that the PPC was still around and going strong. Welcome back! Who were your agents (and what department were they in)? I don't remember your screen name, but the agents may jog my memory...and also, I'm just plain curious.

Welcome back! Yep, we're still here, still bonkers, still writing missions (occasionally) and talking rubbish (constantly). The latter is arguably a more important skill in the community - please don't feel you need to take up writing missions again to be allowed to stay around!
It's always good to see old faces showing up. I hope you enjoy hanging out here again.

Thanks a ton! I remember you as well. :) I may or may not get back into writing missions. I'll have to see where the wind leads me on that one. Thanks for the welcome back. :)
