i forgot something, im interested mostly on MLP because it has nasty stuff i want to reverse, but I'm also generally open to any fandom i can help return to normal, i want to try and save as many characters as possible

Maybe about six months or more. Well,it's up to the permission givers, but one months may still be too short. You have to immerse yourself in the PPC Original Series if you want to be agent.

The point of the 'one month before Permission attempts' rule is to get to know the person concerned. After that it's up to that person's writing quality.

The rule is, "wait to ask for Permission until a) you've been active long enough for the community (including PGs) to get to know you, b) you've proven that you have a solid grasp on the community spirit and Da Rules, and c) you feel confident that you know what you're doing and can effectively demonstrate it with your Permission request."

How long that takes for each individual varies quite a bit. I will say it's extremely unlikely that anyone could get Permission within a week of their introduction, but we've had people blow us away with their awesomeness in as little as two to three weeks, and we've had people like me who waited years before they personally felt ready to start writing anything. I actually think multiple months is more likely the norm for when is a good time.

Now, I do need to mention a couple of things. Firstly, make sure you double-check your writing before you hit "post," to make sure everything that needs punctuation and capitalization has it. We're a writing community, and we take pride in making the effort to keep our grammar sharp!

Also, when you do eventually write missions, keep in mind that the idea is to find badfics that can be made humorous. Otherwise, the mission would just turn into a list of deviations from canon, and that wouldn't be any fun to read!
