Duly noted.
I have read PPC 'fics for several years, but this is my first post here on the board.
I come here with an offering of a randomly generated Harry Potter chapter:
http://botnik.org/content/harry-potter.html
Have one of my own shed feathers, plus a working replica of the Golden Snitch with a Pokeball engraving!
Take a flask of mjød, and a book from the Library of Prospero. Although be sure to have it back in before... oh. Nevermind.
Apologies for not greeting you earlier, but... well, y'know. Anyways, I'm Thoth, Almighty Sorcerer, and Crazy Liar. I'm not a Space Marine, but I play one on TV.
You seem cool, so be sure to pop by the Discord if you're feeling it, and just... generally have fun, even if you don't take me up on that.
Haha, we were talking about that chapter a while ago! I've even tried the Botnik writer myself, and it was... interesting.
Anyway, nice to meet you! I'm Twistey, an amateur creator who can't decide which medium to stick to, partially thanks to the 4 years that Scratch.mit.edu had me brainwashed into thinking that the site and its community was the center of the universe, leaving me with the idea that I can program my own games and yeah it's totally fine to program with colored blocks. (But hey, at least Stencyl is a step up. If I try I'll get somewhere.) I'm pretty active on here.
Enough about me, how about you? What are your fandoms? How did you discover the PPC, and what type of stuff do you plan to write for it? Any character ideas? Anything interesting you've already written? I'd love to know more!
Finally, for your newbie gift, here's a copy of a very strange story. From what I'd guess, it seems to be an outsider's misinterpretation of the Original Series. Not that they have any reason to, other than Wikia's adblock ban. If you stick around long enough, I'll inform you of its exact contents.
Nice to meet you! I hope you have a wonderful time here and welcome to the PPC!

I enjoy the Harry Potter series, also Warhammer 40,000, Andrzej Sapkowski's The Witcher series, and various other things. I discovered the PPC via Television Tropes and Idioms (tvtropes), and I hope to write PPC missions using agents Colonel Caleb Bradbury (a retired Argentinian army officer from world 1.567 repeating), and Rasputin Gibbs ( reptilian humanoid from world 1.963, where most conspiracy theories are true). My writing credentials include two completed National Novel Writing Months, and various short stories. I look forward to aiding in the fight against badfic.
Thoth is another PPCer who is into Warhammer 40K. He's a pretty good dude, and is active frequently here. He also has a friend he recruited called Grundleplith The Dorf, but the latter doesn't seem to have been active lately.
Huh, you seem to have a good deal of stuff figured out. I'll leave this to you, then.

I am also new - arguably more so than you since I only learned about all this stuff recently - but it's great to meet you! My gift to you is a spoonful of crystallized honey, with the hope that something long neglected in the darkness of a back cabinet and only now lifted back to the light can still bring sweetness into the world.
It's nice to meet you, newbie! Thanks for the gift; it's greatly appreciated. In return, I offer you a Generic Weapon of any type you want. I'd advise you to check out the Constitution if you haven't already. In the meantime, tell us about yourself! Who are you? What are your likes? Dislikes? What fandoms are you in? What stories do you read? What type of writing do you do, if any? We look forward to getting to know you. :)
Thanks, I've read the Constitution, and I shall introduce myself. I have some knowledge of many popular canons, and the three things I like the most are John Hodgman's Complete World Knowledge trilogy, Warhammer 40,000, and the short stories of Argentinian magical realist and knife-fighting enthusiast Jorge Luis Borges. Outside of those I have eclectic tastes in music, from heavy metal (mostly Powerwolf, Sabaton, and Tool), to opera of the romantic era (I have listened mostly to the works Wagner and Stravisky). To be honest, eclectic describes most of my tastes.
