A Trekkie! Wonderful! Which series is the focus of your fandom? I like TNG best personally, though I love DS9 and Voyager. And TOS and Reboot. If it's Star Trek...

TNG mostly..its the series I grew up with and had all the ships and playsets for. though there is a soft spot in my heart for the commerical with Nimmoy and the guy from heroes
I didn't quite grow up with TNG, but basically, I saw the 2009 movie, started watching TOS, then found out that TNG was on TV, started watching that, and to this day I haven't finished TOS and I've seen all of TNG. You had the ships and playsets? Awesome! Do you have a favorite character? Favorite episode(s)?
Yeah, I like that commercial too - it's just hard to go wrong with two actors that play Spock in the same place. Even though I like TNG best I cannot deny the awesomeness of Spock.

Anyway, have you read TOS? The Original Series of the PPC, featuring Jay and Acacia, is basically our canon.
