For a short interlude (about 1k words). Some Doctor Who/Torchwood knowledge would be helpful for context, but isn't necessary. Does contain spoilers for the end of season 3 of Torchwood, so if you don't want those, then be warned.
I'm mainly just looking for a second pair of eyes. I wrote this back in March and just rediscovered it; it looks pretty good to me, but there could be something I'm missing. Any type of beta welcome (SPaG, flow, etc).
