...to plug Machinima's series Forward Unto Dawn. They took Halo and made a live-action series of it. There are (currently) five parts to it and....I....this.....

Yeah, so. Hollywood-level effects, excellent shooting work, good characterization & character development, compelling characters and plot, and more. It is probably the coolest thing I have seen in years. This is gold.
Oh, and in case you think you recognize Chyler Silva, you do - she's Anna Popplewell, who played Susan in Chronicles of Narnia.
