I'll try to explain it as best I can.
If https://www.img.url is the URL of the image and you want it at a width of 300 pixels, then the formatting would be:
without the backslash. -

Like this:
<img src="https://www.img.url" width="300"/>
Note the absence of the comma and most of the spaces, plus the slash at the end to close the tag. Your browser can compensate for many formatting errors, but it's always better not to make them in the first place. {= )
