It's usually okay to jump into a thread if something catches your interest. Like, if two characters are having a more intimate moment, you/your characters may wish to exercise common courtesy and leave them alone, but on the other hand, it might be okay to interrupt because of the Narrative Laws of Comedy. If you're not sure, just ask. More people/characters makes things more complicated, but as long as everyone takes turns and no one is left behind, it's fine. {= )

Starting off with Henry Robinson and Ian Thomas Horowitz, because the idea of Space Marine–precocious child interactions amuses me. ^_^ Will no doubt bring Derik and Gall in later, once I figure out what they're wearing.

RPs are open to anyone who can think up a character for them, and do not require permission, as they aren't a part of canon.
...Well, unless someone with Permission canonicalizes it, or aspects of it. but then the continuity starts to get even more tangled.
This happened last year, 'frinstance. My Agent Thoth and Agent Tom canonically met Agents Gall and Derik at a Halloween party, where they also met up with Agents Ix and Charlotte... who, as I understand it, were canonically never at any such party and definitely didn't meet up with a rather drunk Space Marine and a considerably more drunk former Dragonrider. Or maybe they didn't meet at that party, but rather met at a halloween party considerably like that one with mant of the details of that one but that wasn't that one and wasn't a roleplay.
Confused? Good. That means it's working.

Threw Ix and Charlotte in to start, will probably see Ave, Zeb, and Elanor sooner or later as well. :)
