Yay! Another DT fan in the PPC!

I know what you mean about "sliding back into the atmosphere." Every time I've read one of these, my inner thoughts start to take on Mid-World speech. I have to be careful when I'm speaking not to let any "say trues" or "do it please yas" leak out and confuse people.

I have a copy of HiA, but haven't gotten to read it yet. I had heard about that short story . . . Nice to know I have one last little slice of Mid-World to look forward to!

That's an interesting question, actually. One the one hand, Gabrielle doesn't strike me as the type to curse, though she had so little screen time, it's hard to really say. On the other hand, swear words do tend to become more and more acceptable as a culture advances, and Mid-World is pretty far in some Earth's future, so maybe that word's not as obscene in Mid-World as it is for us today?

Incidentally, since I'm not sure you would have cross across it Wiki-walking, I'm going to link you to the one piece of Dark Tower-related fiction under the PPC's umbrella. It's a role-play from after Agent Halley got stranded in Mid-World for a while, which may or may not have existed as a published story at some point; we'll never know for sure, since the Bad Role-play Department has vanished from the internet. Anyway, here's the link. (It continues into the comments.)
