"Yeah, thanks," Day said. She glanced at Derwin. "That's normal, right?"
Mia raised a quizzical eyebrow at Derwin, then returned her attention to Day. "No, I don't think it is," she said. "Let's just get to Medical."

He shrugged at the question. "Hesa not normal to begin with. Derwin wasa raider inna home cont'uity 'fore ghoul. Druggies plus Radiation...Messed Himsa up in da head." He looked quizzical. "Dunno why hesa lik'a dis in da rob-b-bo girl body, though."

"Or something," Sax input.
"Or something." Day shrugged. "Maybe he's so used to being that way he doesn't have a normal anymore?"
but she knew she had to distract herself, or she would only ever think of Medical.
"It could simply be some quirk of the body-swap machine," she said. "Or just HQ being... HQ." They had talking Flowers; you couldn't get much weirder.
"Yup." Ignoring his partner (Who was now following along, humming to himself), he gave Mia a side-eyed look.
"What's de fic yousa from, anyway?" He asked abruptly, trying to make conversation.

"And you've been here since you were a kid? That's a long time to be stuck here," Day said, looking around the corridors thoughtfully.
I didn't want to go again until I had asked, but I've been busy the past few days.
"Hmmm...Wesa in de same boat, den. Derwin and Mesa were part of a Fic that wasn't published..."

Mia blinked a few times. She... wasn't sure what to do. This situation had nothing to do with killing Sues-- therefore, it was out of her comfort zone. "What kind of fic?" she found herself asking.
