Chakkik's face was unreadable. "Would you be so kind as to help me shut my partner up? After she talked to you, she decided to incessantly yammer about the incredible sex life that comes with espionage. I've been trying to tune her out; I have no desire to understand mammalian reproduction."

Strangely enough, even with her dislike of most non-humans, the hobgoblin actually put her a bit more at ease. Cipher-7 had infiltrated at least a half-dozen SIS outposts, and that personality was just so fundamentally different from what she had experienced. It was...refreshing she thought.

"I am for the moment willing to believe that this is not an SIS outpost or even a Republic Facility. So I am at least willing to talk a bit." She did not necessarily trust them. Or even believe them, but this was her best chance to figure out what was going on.

Cipher-7 laughed a bit. She certainly thought they were some kind of school club, after all they were not very good at their job. "SIS stands for Strategic Information Services. They are an intelligence agency, though I use that term loosely. They are...", she thought a second. "...a rival spy organization. Though they really just blunder about without any idea what they are doing."

"What are the odds? Gabby does exactly that on our missions." He thought for a moment. "Except at the end of our last one. Does your home continuum have giant fire-breathing beasts? We provoked our last target into getting himself incinerated. Our targets tend to have an overinflated opinion of their capabilities."

She paused as her translator made a slight beep. "It apparently translates to Star Dragon in your language here. They could allegedly breath fire and fly through space unaided." She shrugged, "But it could just be legend. No one alive I know has ever encountered one."

She took a breath. "It sounds like your targets are very similar to the SIS."

Cipher-7 decided she still should try to learn what she could from this Internal Affairs person. And then she would decide what to do next.
