"So do they have some purpose they've come back for?" He paused to concentrate on the conversations taking place in the hall. "Arguing about tech versus magic, fanboying...the Flowers? Who would do that? They don't seem to be that different really." He raised an eyebrow suggestively. "I wonder what their HQ looks like?"
"I don't know, to answer all of your questions," Kali said. "A lot different from ours, though, from what I could gather. Why, did you want to go see it or something? I'm relatively sure that might destabilize the time-space continuum if you already exist there. Of course, I'm going by SG-1 'verse rules with the possibility of entropic cascade failure." She shrugged. "That's just a guess, though; this could be routine for them."
"We should have a few days at least before failure, but I don't think we should stay that long. The idea brings up almost-memories from the one I should have been in my homefic. You know they sleep for hundreds of years and then wake up to see how the worlds have changed." He nodded. "I definitely want to go. The potential nostalgia factor is very high. And curiosity. That factors in as well."
