Most mstings I've seen are in script format, though on YouTube there are some videos with commentary over them.
I'd be happy to share examples if nobody minds.
. . . at least among MSTs written by PPCers. Some seem to be written like the viewers are watching an acting-out of the fic in some way, maybe with subtitles, or possibly just being able to see the Words in the theater. Others just seem to have the fic's literal words scrolling up the screen.
I don't actually have any examples to post for you, because I generally don't pay much attention to MSts. Sorry!

Try Library of the Damned, a Fanfiction MST site I've written some guest riffs for! I've only been a regular commenter/guest riffer for less than a year, but it's a small-ish community of snarky people, who I respect highly. It's also got some good examples of how to write a MST, although it's probably not all that great for a PPC MST. Well, maybe Erttheking's MSTs, since those are in script format, and maybe a few of my earlier guest riffs.

... I have former PPCer Al's Waiter's MSTing website archived. Back In The Day, I think this was where I first encountered the concept.
For the historically curious, I also have the handful of MSTs of badfics sporked in TOS, here. One of them is by Acacia! (And if anyone manages to find traces of any of the 19(!) badfics which I don't have records of, I'd be over the moon to see them.)
