What I remember most is hardly ever getting to see the ones I really liked, such as Gargoyles. The angst appealed to me then as now, but I was hardly ever around when it was airing for some reason.

Same with David the Gnome, though I did recently get to watch most of it because a friend of mine has it on DVD. Good stuff. David helped inspire my interest in (fantasy) herbalism. {= ) Its age really shows in the portrayal of female gnomes, but it's still definitely something I'd recommend to anyone who likes Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, etc. That and/or the sort of down-to-earth "a magical world is right under our noses if we only look for it" fantasy aesthetic.

What else... hm. I watched Nickelodeon and Fox Kids a whole lot, but I don't remember having strong feelings about most of the programming...

Oh, Spider-Man, though. I really liked that at the time (does not hold up so well on review as an adult, though!). Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, too, which I haven't seen since to judge.

I definitely remember Digimon, but I don't know if I really liked it that much? I saw it as off-brand Pokémon, and I for sure wasn't really into the Pokémon anime. I did get emotional about Wizardmon, but that arc happened right around when I stopped watching.

I was also in the Adult Swim demographic, and that was my first exposure to a lot of great anime, like Cowboy Bebop, which is definitely the best of a pretty good lot, IMO. I'd recommend that to anyone for the soundtrack alone.
