A little while ago Bram made a valiant effort at infiltrating the discord server, which is why the invite got closed to begin with. The mods said they'd opened it again, but maybe that link is still defunct?
Will inquire further.

If you go to the wiki and hover over the Community tab, the entry on the drop-down that you want is "The Chatroom".

It says invalid invite. The wiki says it was turned off.
