The thing about other continua with resurrection processes, at least - although Mira probably wouldn't know about that at this point. As for the portal thing, because her home continuum isn't an officially "discovered" world no-one knows the coordinates you'd need to create a portal there. Or if you mean "portal there using her magic" that doesn't work across dimensions.
Yup, I finally dredged this up and published it.
In "Rituals and Films" (https://archiveofourown.org/works/24787606), Edward and Kat finally discover Mira's biggest secret. It's... concerning, to say the least.
(Fair warning, I have literally not looked at this for months except a brief glance through just now.)
This is a nice example of using a fairly mundane emotional conflict to advance character development. I understand both how guarded Mira was about her friend, and the mistrust the twins felt towards Mira because of that reticence. But I'm glad they've at least taken a step towards trusting one another.
Is there anything about Mira's continuum . . . I'm not sure how to phrase this, but is Mira's magic the only thing that can resurrect Carlia? Being in the PPC, there are other worlds with resurrection processes available for Mira to portal into, like Dungeons & Dragons. For that matter, why can't she just portal to her home world to get closer to the Stone?
