Maybe you could spork it in rhyme... the possibilities are endless!

I was just wondering how things were going with that. I am still interested in joining in, it's just that our time-zones don't seem to be favourable for live chat discussion.
If necessary, just tell me which of the PotC badfics are still available (I checked the claimed badfic list already and there's nothing listed there) and I'll set my agents on it.
Of course, if we *could* arrange a meeting of our agents, all the better.
Nevertheless, we can't have the DTE being overloaded with this mission without my agents joining in - that would be dereliction of their duty.
You can always email me at: cyba.zero@gmail.com
Slow, I know, but it gets around the time zone problem.
Everyone who volunteered, thank you! If you didn't post to this thread and you weren't on the chat last Wednesday, can you please reply to this post so that I know you're still around?
I have compiled the info I have into a spreadsheet so everyone can see it (I thought it would be best if we had one place to consolidate the info).
Here is the link:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AoEAD2waIFimdGVCVmZtMm41U19qMEhEZEw0NkMxWHc
Please note that you CAN edit this document, so if you want to volunteer yourself for any of the fics still available, please feel free to do so. Also, please fill in the fields for your agents, your permission status, etc. We'll get this done if it kills us!
...okay, poor choice of words.
Cyba Zero, you get first pick, because you emailed me a while ago that you weren't able to make it for the chat. Doctorlit, you also emailed me and have been assigned three fics that I think you'll loathe love. If there's anything you think the spreadsheet could use, suggestions are welcome.
Also, any last-minute volunteers? Please sign up!
~Araeph
But I might pick only a few badfic to tackle, preferably in the Pirates of the Carribean & Mulan categories.
We're averaging three per person, so you'd fit right in. (Actually, I think you volunteered for four in the chat. *checks spreadsheet* Yep.) Don't worry, they're very short.
By the way, how does one go about sporking a "song parody"? Just curious.
Maybe you could spork it in rhyme... the possibilities are endless!
YAY! Doing things!
Although, PotC is the only fandom on the list that I know, and the fics all seem to be taken...
Of the PotC ones, I don't mind which.
Rent Mulan! :D It's the shortest canon of the four, at 88 minutes running time, and you only need to see it once to understand why the canon desecration is so terrible in these fics. Plus, the badfics themselves are so short there's not really time to get into the nuances and little details of canon.
Not that that will stop my agents from piling on the charges.
Alternatively, you could become a Hannah Montana aficionada, but...
Renting is easier said than done, but I took the liberty of checking out what Mulan actually was on Wikipedia, and it turns out I actually may have seen it - albeit quite a while ago.
Between that and Wikipedia, even reading the fic summaries is cringeworthy. If we'll be working together, then I'd say it's do-able. Besides, technical errors are universal.
Also, I may be getting some work experience soon, which will reduce my available time, but I'll still have evenings and weekends. If we're emailing, then that covers the time-zone issue anyway.
Many thanks.
...both Mulan ones. Having read through, it's not going to take really heavy canon knowledge (given the painful lack of canon showing). I'd say the one with the soccer first, followed by 'Parenthood'.
Charge #1: no paragraphing for new speakers during conversation.
Charge #2: punctuation
Charge #3: a dinning room, eh? Sounds like university halls...
etc.
Oh, and my agents have a bit of a dodgey disguise generator in their RC. It would be just their luck to end up with high pink armour the day they forget the DORKS...
I don't know if anybody's still reading this far down the front page, but I have very nearly finished my first Mulan mission. I have also discovered a mini, Zouh. I don't know what type of minis Mulan has - in fact, I cannot find any listing on the PPC wiki or any evidence of an OFU for this continuum.
As such, mini type suggestions are welcome, unless somebody else on this group sporking has already found one first.
I vote either mini-Great-Stone-Dragons (although there are dragons as minis for other continua, so not the best pick) or especially mini-Huns.
If nobody replies to this before it falls off the front page, I'll re-post at the top in the assumption nobody has noticed it.
I'll pencil in mini-Huns for now. I will add my mission to my LJ page shortly (friends only), for Araeph's perusal to insert her agents. Warning: not yet beta-ed!
The mission is now on my LJ, set to friends only. Link:

Please beta/add in you agents, Araeph, or however you planned on handling this.
Oh, and separating Zouh the mini-Hun and Eagrus won't be easy. Best leave them be! :)
I took too Mulan ones, the grammar cracks me up. I'll be charging and posting the google doc soon, hopefully.
... Now that I think of it, didn't I have a backstory for those agents running around somewhere? Hmm. I must find and edit that, I believe that was supposed to be my permissions piece.
Yeah, the grammar cracks me up to.
*looks back at sentence*
Aaargh! I'm becoming grammatically unsound by osmosis! Heeeelp!
I sent you an email to a Google Doc that has some of what I've worked on so far. I know from personal experience that Yahoo's spam filters can be a bit sensitive sometimes, so you might want to check in there.
Because I, too, have issues with communication; namely my school schedule of extreme and utmost doom.
