You could tag it as "writing," I guess, but I think it's all right as general, on-topic discussion. More fic analysis would be cool.

It's not always easy for me to tell how true to the canon a decent-looking fanfic is, especially if it's a plausible-sounding AU or an in-depth look into an untold story.
