Like, wow. Lots of stuff has happened since I first joined y'all back in late January of 2014.
I've been hospitalised twice for depression, graduated high school, changed universities three times, had gender-affirming surgery that took a huge load off my mind, moved to another country, will move back to my home country, will move to yet another country in the future, am four months away from graduating university pursuing a degree I love and adore, have struggled with alcoholism, will likely be getting married in a year to the person of my dreams...
Basically, I've been with the PPC through most of my developmental teenage years and honestly, I think being here has shaped me into a better person.
I wouldn't have had the courage to come out as pansexual and genderfluid without talking to other members of the community, often late into the night, trying to beat my identity into something I can make sense of and explain to others. But I know who I am now, and it's in no small part to the friends I've made here.
God knows I've had my stumbles and pitfalls and I've not always been a good member of the community. I've lashed out, I've been a bad friend, but you guys kept holding on to me and reminding me to grow and be better. I like to think I've done as such and the tumultuous days where I was as volatile as I was are now behind me.
So, thank you for that.
I don't think I would be the person I am today without y'all.
Here's to a full decade, to two, to the rest of my life. I love it here and I hope I can keep contributing to the community.
(And I swear I'll write those one hundred missions at some point. I swear. I swear, it's coming—)
Somehow, I can't believe it's only been seven years. Possibly because the last four feel more like forty.
You certainly have grown in that time, and it's good to see. The need to grow and be better never stops, but it certainly gets easier with adult perspective and brain development.
I hope the next seven or ten or twenty years are happier and brighter and more writing-ful for you and for all of us. {= )

I'm glad you've been here and that I've had the opportunity to get to know you.
... and come to think of it, I should see when my Boardaversary is - the 10th one should be coming up this year...
May you have many more wonderful years with us!
