It happens—like I said, I was using an app on my phone to message in-game to avoid that problem.
Lunar Cove is already coming along really nicely and I can't wait to show it off when it's back into respectable shape!
In keeping with our habit of being late to any trend, Team HuineLyn got the lockdown classic Animal Crossing just this Christmas. Our island of Aeaea (^_^) is festooned with pears, apples, and cherries - but our friendly neighbourhood lion keeps giving me recipes involving a weird fruit called "Or-anges". I talked to the airport staff, but they tell me I need to look in Ternet...
So does anyone have the game, and a friend code or whatever it is that they'd be willing to share? We'll reciprocate once we've, er, actually set up the whole online thing, but we don't want to start until we have somewhere to go.

Since my island's renovation is (just about) completed now, I'm putting my dream address code up so anyone with the game can check it out at any time.

Pretty much the only area unfinished is the northwestern plateau! (And the tragic lack of flowers on the island, but that will come with time.) The house finally got a kitchen and basement overhaul as well, so I'm very proud to finally show off my island home.
Ix or anyone else who hasn't yet made their presence known, if you want to get in on what's either the last Aquarius meteor shower or the first Pisces one, I'm available for the next 2-3 hours to open the gates and let people in. From what I've read, wishing on stars while visiting will make them fall on your own beaches.

I don't suppose Celeste is hanging out on your island? She gives DIY recipes based on what astrological sign is up each month. :)
(Also, Lunar Cove is about done with renovations if you're interested in checking it out sometime!)
She decided not to show this time. We've actually seen her twice in Aquarius, but this has been our only heavy shower (and the weather report says we get none at all in Pisces!).
(Ooh yes, sometime! Not sure when time - it's all a bit busy here. Will have to see.)

Glad you like it! I wasn't sure about colour schemes beyond "it's hS, it's Elves, Elves like Green", so I'm just glad it turned out okay. =]
Anyone else have New Leaf? Once I actually write my Nintendo number down, I can share it with you guys and you guys can visit.
It's a tad bit of a mess, with all the times I had to go and do honors stuff, but we got apples and oranges! And a fountain that's being built! And maybe some buried fossils that I still haven't uncovered yet.
And shells. Lots of them on the beach shore.
So, uh, yeah. Once I write down the number, I'll share if you guys are interested, of course.

...I can open my island for you (and anyone else interested!) to come visit. Like I said, it's a bit of a lot of a mess right now, but I've got fruit and I have some nice DIY recipes I've been saving for others to pick up.
Down to UK-evening - probably anything past 10pm GMT is pushing it. Prod me on the Board or by email and we'll hunt the Switch down.
We got access to terraforming about 4 days ago, so my time is currently "ARGH waterfall go where I want you to!"

Mind, I've been trying to sort internet issues at my house—we're in the middle of an ice storm and connection will randomly drop sometimes. I guess I'll open my island for you and we'll see what happens?

I apologise for being all Huinesoron Trek 2: The Wrath of Toey; I was switching between touchscreen and console controls depending on whether Kaitlyn needed to be able to see. :) We had lots of fun; the fruit has been added to my orchard, and I will try and write it up... er... sooner than I do the (checks) 2017 and all later Gatherings. :-/

Mind, my island is currently undergoing some major renovations—I've recently started bulldozing the place to rebuild it from the ground up so it's not very nice to look at yet, but the museum is nearly complete!
