Does Fauré's Pavane Op. 50 sound good on clarinet-oboe duet?

I've asked this elsewhere and so far has gotten no answer, and the only such duet I've found is this video in which the playing doesn't sound very good (it helps that one of the performers was 10 at the time of the video's making). I suppose it might sound better in the hands of more skilled performers, but I'll ask to be sure. I'm planning a music-themed fic so the help would be appreciated.
