No Man's Sky is usually $59.99, but it's on sale for $29.99. In my opinion, it's well worth the money. I know that No Man's Sky wasn't the best in 2016 when it came out, but there have been lots of free updates, and the 3D graphics are amazing. It's a fun open-world game where you can do just about anything: space exploration, walking around exploring planets aboveground, in caves, and even under water, fighting space pirates, building bases, doing missions for aliens, digging up ancient ruins, rescuing crashed spaceships and adopting the strange-looking animals you can find on planets. There is a bit of a learning curve, and you will probably end up dying a few times and having to go find your grave so you can get your stuff back, but after that, it is awesome. It's a lot of bang for your buck, and my dad and I usually spend a few hours on evenings and weekends playing multiplayer together.

Terraria is usually $15.00, and it's on sale for $4.99. It's been around since 2012, and there have been some updates. This game is also open-world, with lots of options. Its motto is "Dig, fight, build, explore". The graphics are pixelated and kind of old-fashioned, but that is one of the things I like about Terraria. My dad bought copies for pretty much all our devices, he liked it so much.
