It's been over a week, and I'm wondering if you are actually going to beta for me. I got your message in the Google Doc saying that you were going to look at it, and no more messages after that. If something has come up so you can't beta, I'm fine with looking for another beta reader.
I need someone who knows a lot about LOTR (this is my main fandom). Most of my writing will be in the Tolkienverse, but Narnia and Star Trek are also fandoms I love, so I might end up doing missions for them as well as LOTR. I do want criticism, but not really harsh criticism. If you think something is weird, I want to know why. My writing will be in American English, so it may look strange if you speak British English. I don't do missions for slash of any description. It squicks me out, especially when canon characters are slashed when they already have a canonical pairing or when there is incest, especially in Narnia. C.S. Lewis was a Christian, for crying out loud. What he would say about Narnia fanfic, I hate to think.

Also, I usually use Google Docs for my writing, but I can use a different format if that would be easier.
Board isn't necessarily ideal, for things like instant communication, but I'm totally good with google docs - commenting and the chat feature allow for faster, more specific communication than me saying something on the board like "On page 2, paragraph 8, x means that..." etc.
