It's been... a really really long time. Yikes.
Today has been a bookish sort of birthday (of course). In addition to the actual books, my pin badge collection has been expanding...
And off-screen to the bottom, a very nice book in black and gold, inscribed in flowing script with the fabled incantation:

But not for me, it is in fact hS's birthday.
We did some back-of-the-envelope calculations this morning and decided that he has now been a PPCer for more than half his life. He joined us as a sarcastic geeky teenager and has now emerged from his chrysalis to become a sarcastic geeky adult, and throughout he has loved this place like one of his actual children.
Happy birthday to hS, you beautiful sarcastic geeky butterfly.
