I promise I won't spam the Board with my current writing project, but the thread I made for sharing it slid off the first page. I figured that if people are interested in this tale, it might be helpful to start a new thread for upcoming chapters every now and then, rather than post each in a separate thread, which would probably be spamming. So yeah, this is the new Heckmaster thread. (I'm saying that because I keep misreading the actual title, Hexmaster, either as that, Hamster or Hexameter. I can't decide which one is worse. Or funnier.)

So, a recap for those who haven't kept up with my infodumping on the Discord: Hexmaster is a story about people with various unpleasant body horror-y superpowers running around, trying to keep extremely creepy and dangerous supernatural creatures from harming people. There is a lot of dumb banter and characters lovingly roasting each other, shounen anime tropes used with gusto by middle-aged women, and plenty of paranormal horror. The formats vary from narratives to mission reports and interview transcripts as well. In other words, it's a complete salad of a story, but I'm having the time of my life with it. There are a lot of warnings that apply for each chapter, so read at your own discretion, but the major ones are fire, body horror, people being preyed on, and lots of swearing, because my heroine has quite the mouth on her.

I'm currently on chapter 10; I'll post each new chapter as they appear in this thread, but until then you can view what I've published of the story so far here. If you decide to check out any of this, I appreciate any and all comments on it.
