While it’s fine to claim a Legendary, it’s also generally recommended a newbie write a couple missions that aren’t to Legendaries before they tackle the Legendary. This is so the rest of us really know you understand the setting and how missions work. Think of it as a final boss in a video game — you don’t take that on until you’ve taken out easier bosses.

The fic isn’t going to go anywhere, and Legendaries as a whole are, as mentioned in this thread (or another recent thread), difficult to turn into a funny, enjoyable mission. Work on being able to write something funny and enjoyable before you take on Starkit, okay?

Please don’t take this as me harshing your buzz. I was the overexcitable newbie at one point, too, but even I learnt at some point that sporking fanfiction isn’t an emergency. I got Permission in 2008 and only now have I written a mission to a Legendary-calibre fic. Many people never do it, and that’s also okay.
