Not malware. It was a prank. Those files were ripped from other games, and the .exe file itself is nothing. Loads up the Sburb logo, and that's it.

What if I told you Sburb was real? That a beta exists, and that it's been slowly spreading across the internet?
It starts with a single tumblr post.
"Password will be revealed when interest is adequate.
Spread the word."
At the end, an arrow, familiar to all who know MS Paint Adventures, which links to a simple white page with the sburb logo and two arrows. One going back, and the other going forward.
Continuing onward links you to a Mediafire download page, with a file. "SBURB Beta.zip", an encrypted zip file, requiring a password that no one has. Inside are several files, including an application, labeled SBURB.exe.
No one knows what any of the files do, or how to open or extract them, but everyone has guesses. Including the most obvious one: Sburb is real, there is a game that will end the world, and if you want any hope of surviving, you will play. You must play. Because if you don't, someone else will, and then you'll be wiped out with the rest of humanity.
Have fun, and good luck.
The files contained within the zip file were created before the first page of Homestuck even existed. It's malware if I've ever seen it.

I. Hate. Zombies!
*shoots randomly with a machine gun*
Wait... no zombies here...
I've been seeing this odd warning going around...
Attn Homestuck Fandom: Do Not Download Sburb!
They're saying:
"The file going around called sburb-beta.zip contains some very malicious code. If you play it, an exploit in the game will allow the person you’re playing with FULL CONTROL of your living space, allowing them to physically manipulate your surroundings. This means that a malicious player can trap you in a room to demolish your house.
However, this pales in comparison to the malicious code embedded in the file. When the sburb.exe file is run for the first time, a malicious segment of code causes a meteor to be summoned towards your present location.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD SBURB"
Sounds awfully dangerous...
People havve been freakin out about this all over tumblr and noww iit's on the PPC Board? Giive me a break!
I thought I could escaaaaaaaape it, but I gUeSs I wAs WrOnG.
:o(
HoNk.
That tends to be the way of the Board.
(I'm with you in the not-caring-about-homestuck camp, but I think Boarders are allowed to be fans of things. We like random pluggery, and whatnot.)
(I was being half joking, anyway; hence the troll typing quirks.)
