Hey guys! Sorry for being rather inactive, I managed to: Get incredibly involved in Neopets, spend a lot of time on Reddit, fall down the hololive rabbit hole and some other stuff. Despite all this, I'm still a fan of One Piece, and here's a little observation of recent events concerning the franchise.

• First, I must talk about the pivotal events of Chapter 1044 of the manga. MAJOR SPOILERS EVERYBODY It's unknown how this might affect fanfic, but expect fix-it fics from people who aren't really fans of this reveal.

• Then, there's also the upcoming Netflix live-action adaptation. If enough people discover it, we probably need to brace for an upcoming fanfic explosion, and when you apply Sturgeon's Law, we're probably gonna be inundated with lots of badfics.

• And last but not least, there's the upcoming movie One Piece Film: Red. It introduces a brand new character called Uta, who is supposed to be the daughter of Shanks. Once again, look out for fix-it fics.

Plus, I noticed on the wiki that Jinbe is still not mentioned as part of the Straw Hats. Could someone fix that for me?
