Not to mention hS needs time free to archive stuff on FanficLand/Verse/World. So keeping it at a more predictable “September” might be easier for him.
Of course, this depends on his energy levels, but I know personally I would like more time to write.
It is now mid July. Therefore, I’m requesting that we start the Badfic Games!
I’ll wait for hS, the FanficVerse master, to officially declare the Games.

The last July one we had was, according to the Wiki, 2011. All the rest (except one) have been in September.
So, I'd say we hold off until September again unless we have more people available to do the Badfic Games in July than in September.
Anyone else have some thoughts on this?

“The game has historically taken place in either July or September, once in October, but could presumably be started at any time in that late summer/early fall range, provided no other big event is happening at the time. Huinesoron has typically been the one to start it, but that doesn't mean you can't if you want to.”
If that’s not the case, we should change the wiki article. Basically, the last nine Games have been in September (with one in October), six before that were July, and the original was in April.
I’d like to see what others say as well.

September is good, because a) everyone's back in school and needs a distraction, and b) it's six months off from the Shipfest. If someone could edit it that would be great.
You can also remove the part about me starting it. fanficVERSE is not running live with the Games, so I can just update it whenever. The site is at https://fanficverse.neocities.org/, and at some point I'll backfill the missing years (2015-2019, I think).
