This may be just ridiculous, but would you consider Dipper in "Dipper Goes to Taco Bell" an author-wraith, or a character replacement? Sorry, I'm just not good at figuring out these things myself. Edit: I read a bit more of it, and Mabel is DEFINITELY a character replacement. Also, who am I to give you alink to this fic without a free jumbo pack of Bleeprin? (hands you one)

It is, from what little I recall, too squicky for me to read. So...can’t help you with the main question.
Additionally, the term is slash-/Sue-wraith, not author-wraith. (The name was changed to avoid author bashing.)
Generally, though, character replacements have been renamed, or have had so much of their personality removed so as to be In Name Only. Or both. Additionally, he could be potentially possessed by a troll if this is a trollfic—though, beware, there’s not much canon as to how trolls manifest and/or are distinct from authors. I’m planning on clearing this up in a upcoming spinoff, however.
Why does this warrant a separate post? You’ve posted on this subject pretty recently, and you could’ve just replied to that. It’s generally considered bad form to have a bunch of separate posts on the same topic, I say this from experience.
*a link, not alink
