I personally wrote a Wings of Fire-specific badfic parody wherein a Gary Stu romances a canon character (Peril, to be specific). It can be found here.
What did y'all write for this delightful time of year?

Ironically, most years I *have* written and posted something... by

...but this year I'm not sure I wrote a single word that day. If I did, it was probably editing, and I don't think I even opened the Board, either.
So...maybe that was my April Fools Day prank this year: one might have expected me to write something, but instead...I did nothing! Muahahaha!
~Z, somewhat amused and cavalierly ignoring the fact that she's pretty sure this is actually something like the third year in a row that she hasn't written something silly and posted it on April 1st >.> After all, this time there's retroactive intention!

April Fool's Day is coming up, and though it may be a time of laughter and pranks for many, we must remember to remain vigilant in our mission to protect the integrity of fictional universes.
While harmless jokes and jests may not pose a threat, we must be on the lookout for any attempts to permanently alter the canon of any given work. Any unauthorized changes to a plot, character, or setting should be reported immediately to HQ for swift action.
We also remind all agents to exercise caution and good judgment when participating in April Fool's Day activities. A prank gone wrong could result in serious consequences for both the PPC and the fictional universe we strive to protect.
Keep up the good work, and let's protect the plot continuum with all due diligence!
Happy April Fool's Day, and may the Continuum be with you.

I've never written much centered on April Fools... by

I've never been a big fan of April Fools, and April 1st to me is more connected to the birthday of one of my favourite characters, Sakura Kinomoto from Cardcaptor Sakura, and as a result is also the birthday of one of my agents, Nikki Cherryflower (who is a badfic clone of her). And now, with The World Without Authors, Nikki's alternate timeline incarnation Hanami is on the list too.
From the left, Hanami, Sakura and Nikki. As per their ages... it's complicated. As of April 1st, 2023 HST Nikki turned 29, and so would've Hanami in her timeline, while as of chapter 71 of the Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card manga Sakura recently turned 14. As per The World Without Authors canon, the only one in which all three of them exist simultaneously (and are even legally sisters now!), on the next April 1st in-universe they will turn 21 (Nikki), 16 (Hanami) and 14 (Sakura).
Some of you might remember Saki Cherriflower, the alternate Nikki recruited during the third (and so far last) mission of my spinoff centered on Keiko. Well... to change things a bit, I had decided that the world of the badfic and HST were "shifted" by about six months (it was spring in the badfic, but autumn HST-wise) so she had to move her birthday a bit to have it match with her actual age. So Saki's birthday is actually on October 1st since her recruitment.
