Aw. Even though it was an overreaction, it’s still cute that the kids all banded together when they thought they were in danger. And Oleander had the vocabulary to solve this mystery all along! “Canine means doglike!” As doglike as can be, as it turns out.
Fun reading a reference to the WikDiv role-play, too! I suspect that memory is going to linger far longer than the participants would like it to . . .
