Wow, what a turnout! I was not expecting this many people to respond to my post. I also didn't think far enough to consider doing the project, so this was more of a glorified suggestion, though it might be completely unnecessary after hearing something that Linstar mentioned. They said that the PPC can have their agents kill the main Stu at any point if they have reached a point where the continuity has been completely ruined. This made about a certain decision made in the fic. In chapter 5, the author "revamps" the episode, The Butterfly Effect. In the show, it was revealed that none of the crazy events that happened in this episode ever actually occurred. It was all a hypothetical situation, conceived in Lincoln's head. However, in the fanfiction, all of the events happened and were not a hypothetical situation. So maybe if an agent did try to do something about this fic, they could probably spin it so that everything that happened after Chapter 5 was imagined by Lincoln. They would probably have to get rid of Laney, JD, and his mansion first. Any other agent can take that idea. But just in case, how do I get permission?

This is your second post ever here on the Board. Please, hang out and acclimate a bit before you try for Permission. Read the Constitution, read the Original Series, and go check out some other spinoffs.

I'm definitely familiar with this fic, and yes, it is definitely mission-worthy; it's been sitting on the Unclaimed Badfic page for a while. That said... I don't know that we need to do that. The fic is over thirty-one million words. Even assuming you'd get every active PPC writer to participate, I doubt that we'd have more than thirty-one people. And... well, a million words is an incredible amount to read, let alone reuse in a mission format.

I think there's something you might be missing about the PPC: if someone really wants to mission this fic, they can just have their agents kill the main Stu at any point. To give an example, the excellent mission of the Legendary Badfic Blood Raining Night by Neshomeh simply cuts off the badfic once the main Sue gives birth to God (it's not a Legendary for nothing). Even if this were a series of fics and not just one fic, we have a department for that too.

I'd definitely be down to do a cowrite to this fic, but I don't think we'd need a sequential series of writers to cover the entire thing. Maybe more just a few agents teaming up to take on a monstrosity.

PPCing a fic like that is an end-boss caliber goal. Before attempting it, you'll need to level up significantly, starting by passing the tutorial level: getting Permission.

The way to do that is by being an active part of the community, reading a bunch of other people's missions, and maybe writing some non-PPC fanfiction or other stories. Get to know our culture, learn what works and what doesn't in a mission, and start to build up the dedication and writing skills you'll need to take on a long-term project.

Because, trust me, writing a mission is harder than it sounds. Getting consistent humor and a decently paced narrative out of a regular-length badfic can be challenge enough. Longfic is harder, and it has been the bane of many a more experienced PPCer before you. Don't shoot yourself in the foot by trying to take on too much too quickly. {= )

A funny concept brought up in the Discord once was the possibility that due to sheer length, it's a punishment that misbehaving agents are assigned to so they can chip away at it in parts. Nothing much else came out of that, though

Not sure how a full mission would work to be honest, but I imagine it would be unusually long

Also welcome newbie, have a mini snek! They come with hats. However, I would recommend waiting a few months for Permission (so we can get to know ya) and I don’t recommend tackling such a huge fanfic for your first mission.
