Decided to use my old inactive AO3 account for something, and I decided that - around the fifth anniversary of my PPC writing, no less! - I'll be uploading my old PPC pieces once every day or so on there, in chronological order. Honestly, if all goes well enough with my beta-phase drafts I might even have another Interlude to add here before this thread drops off the front page. Here's a link!

It's been an interesting experience, learning how the tags and formatting works. I ended up looking to other PPC writings on there (mostly Nesh and Ekwy's stuff) for reference. Also, looking back on my old writings's helped me realize just how much I've changed, and how messy my style and character consistency were back then. It's a bit painful at times, and I recieved a bot comment and a weirdly projecting paragraph of insults in just four days, but it feels nice doing something PPC-related again, even if my writing for the setting's taken a shift away from straight missions.

I want to go ahead and thank y'all while I'm here, since this place helped me find a hobby that I not only enjoy, but am actually decent at for once. I'm not quite where I'd like to be yet, but I think I'm slowly improving. In fact, I'm going for a certificate in creative writing at my college, and I think being here's the catalyst for that. The people here also helped me move away from certain aspects of my personality that I am not very proud of having when I was fifteen, haha. In the grand scheme of things the PPC is such a small corner of the Internet that it's a wonder I found it at all, but I'm very glad I did.
