Greetings, new friend! Help yourself to the bag of venomous arthropods. Don't worry; they don't bite!
I accidentally stumbled upon the PPC while looking up the term 'Mary Sue' (under related topics, presumably) and started reading. I then continued reading, because it was so brilliantly humorous. I have now read roughly half of The Original Series by Jay and Acacia, half of Tawinki Penguin's arc, various things on the wiki and the first part of a lab report by Cocoa and Powder. Now I am bristling with ideas that I will have to keep a lid on for at least a month.
Anyway, now I have finally gathered up my courage enough to introduce myself. I look forward to meeting the community.
Welcome to the Board! Have some of my hydrophobic water to commemorate the event. Got dirty dishes? Hydrophobic water will make the problem go away*!
*And by that I mean literally. Think smoking craters.
Hello and welcome to the PPC! Have an invisibility hat! It's like an invisibility cloak, but it only covers your head. It's great for parties! Also, we're currently trying out a new system called Big Sibling/Little Sibling. If you'd be interested in having a Big Sibling to show you around and answer some of your questions, check out the post below, it has a bit more detail about what it's about.
Thanks for the pointer, I've posted in the thread below with my preferences.
Thanks for the hat, too. Ah, now I know how those headless horsemen do it!
Welcome to the Board! Here, have some chocolate, and enjoy your stay!

Welcome to the Board, newbie! Please make yourself at home here in the invisible internet particles that contain our community. I'm glad to see that you've checked out the Original Series but I'd also like to link you to the Constitution here:https://docs.google.com/document/pub?id=18hztHpDehxcfrjaXoFUew1vb0BdZPDAusHxMHzHiCzM
and the PPC Wiki here:http://ppc.wikia.com/wiki/PPC_Wiki
Also, a present! I present you with a genie in a bottle, good for three wishes or one irritated genie who has just been summoned from his beauty sleep.
I have given those a good read. (I especially enjoyed Article 15. :D) Also, thanks for the genie!
It's nice to meet you!
Have a Box of Infinity!
Warning! Box may also function like an Improbability Drive. Do not pierce or burn.
(Woah, thinking of original warnings for these boxes is getting difficult! XD)
Feel free to ask questions if you still have any. I might be able to answer some.
Hi!
I was actually wondering about minis - do you need to have permission before you can adopt minis or can boarders do it?
I happened to have my eye on a pair of mini-Colossi who would suit the character I have in mind rather well when the time comes.
While I am unsure of the question itself, I can assume that you can try to "claim" mini's before you write a mission. Just make sure you get permission to write, and then claim the badfic on the wiki 9http://ppc.wikia.com/wiki/Claimed_Badfic). However, I am not the person to ask when it comes to permission.
Do not worry, I am not after permission yet. (It has not been nearly long enough, seeing as the Rules suggest having at least a month's presence on the board first.) The two minis in question are already listed as available for adoption on the appropriate Wiki page, but have not been adopted by anybody yet. Is there a specific person who is an expert on minis?
Hi, have some fudge!
Welcome to the community. Please leave your sanity at the door; it won't see much use here, heh heh. Anyway, reading the links up there at the top of the Board is a good idea. Also: what are your fandoms? Do you read and/or write fanfiction?
Last but not least, have a cup of green tea. Just mind the leaves, they might try to eat you :P
I would say my fandoms include: Star Trek, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Mass Effect and a few others I cannot quite remember right now. I thoroughly enjoyed The Lord of the Rings when I read it, although that was quite a few years ago. I also like various RPGs.
I actually have not read or written fanfiction, but I do a bit of original fiction. I tend not to go into details about that, though.
Ouch, I guess you were right about those leaves. :)
