After you do, ask then.
That goes for your friend as well.

It would appear the the unclaimed badfic is locked. I already posted it in the claimed badfic... What can I do? (Other than the obvious "Undo what you did")
I'd like to talk to you.
The Unclaimed Badfic, if I recall correctly, has been locked to anonymous people. All you have to do is log in to the wiki, and if you haven't, then it's very simple to sign up for an account.
I /am/ logged in. As Rainbow Sanity. I feel really bad now, i hope I didn't screw up my chances of getting permission...
Oh, we won't reject you just on that, silly. Permission is based on the quality of writing--characterization, SPaG, flow, and suchlike (as well as how well the PGs know you.) A little mess-up on something like that won't impact it. I would suggest, if you're sure you're logged in, going to the IRC and asking for help their. Even if no one else can figure out what it is, then someone there could remove it for you.
I feel like a total newbie now, but what's the link to the IRC?

Maybe just ask. From personal experience, only the Marquis de Sod is mean to newbies, so if you simply ask the person who claimed it to give it up, they might.
Of course, they are more likely to do so if you have Permission first.
/I/ claimed it. However, the unclaimed board is locked, so I have no way of removing the badfic I chose. (Which, by the way, looks to be quite interesting if not horrifying)
