My first fanfic wasn't very good - it's riddled with minor grammatical errors (yeah, English is not my first language and I did not request for a beta), but my second one is a parody fic using mixed-up Wish-Fulfillment Sues.
I think I should find a beta for further serious fics.
Hello? Is anyone around? A newbie here... I've written and read fanfics for the last two years, and I think I've had enough of the mess around FFN.
I've lurked and listed badfics/trollfics on the local badfic forum, taking a small 'occupation' as a Sue Hunter there, but I think I really need to report here. I'd love to help around by reporting badfics, since I've met loads and I don't know where else to go.
Have a random book. It doesn't do much, but it's a nice paperweight.
FFN is a horrible mess, but digging through it can be fun...in a morbid way. Or if you don't value what sanity you have to begin with. Or that's just me... *shrugs* Have anything interesting on your ffn account?
As a side question for the person posting it, what exactly is a plover? Because I've never found a reference to it...

Oh, don't worry. I never value my sanity too much. I'm already insane before I joined the boards, anyway.
Interesting stuff? Aside from a horrendous first-time fic and a Parody!Sue fic there's nothing else, except a list of preferences and a link to my utterly useless blog in the profile page.

Oh, my blog's filled with rants. Some are written in Bahasa Indonesia, while the rest of them are written in English. Ooh! I like TVTropes!

My favorite character? It's a tie between Kit Fisto and Aayla Secura. Aside from that, they're also my favorite couple. What's yours?
I haven't really delved that far into Star Wars, past the movies and a couple of unmemoral fics, but my favorite pairing is Han/Leia.

Welcome to the board newbie. I'm glad to see that you're already involved in the cause, feel free to report any badfics you find to the current badfic thread. Also, have a Badfic Detector, sure to find any badfic withing a 20 chapter radius. Just don't use it around Legendary Badfics like My Immortal, it might explode.
It's good to see more people joining the cause!
Just be wary of some of those badfics... some of them are just plain scary.
Have a Box of Infinity! Also take some hot bleepolate, in case you encounter anything of Legendary Badfic standard.
