Hi, I'm new here. Spent this afternoon reading your wiki and it sounds really fun. I thought I'd join the board as I'd like to stick around and see what goes on. Great concept. I'm a big LotR fan. Anyway, it said to start by posting a message on the board so that's what I'm doing although I will probably mostly just be lurking.

Just so I don't have to keep repeating myself: I'm normally DarkStar on the internet (including irc). For some reason logging in last time meant it took my name from my email address, which I was NOT happy about!
Lucky I didn't use my work email or I would have been posting as 'enquiries' ...

oh I know that one already, lolz, thanks to the reading on YouTube (I didn't listen to all of it, but I had to satisfy my morbid curiosity ...).

It's going to get annoying explaining this to everyone but on my first post for some reason it lifted my name from my email address. This time it seems to be letting me post as DarkStar (my irc name). What is the point of logging in? That seems to be what caused the problem ...

Oh, um... according to what I've seen, logging in just doesn't work.
So, yeah~ Most of us don't log in at all~ ...and when I say most, I probably mean all.
I'm in West Wales, Carmarthenshire ... although the Pembrokeshire border is just on the opposite side of the river outside my house :)

none really, sorry to disappoint. I'm a bit old for all this malarkey really and I've never heard of most of the other stuff that people go on about :/
I suppose there was other stuff that I was into when I was a kid, but LotR is the only one which has appeal to me as an adult.
Also, I don't know why the system lifted my name from my email address when I first posted instead of giving me the 'author' name I gave myself. I'm DarkStar on irc.
