I tried getting into the PPC chatroom, but when I typed in my username and entered the chatroom, it was blank. There wasn't any loading process on the screen, making it look like as if there wasn't anyone in the chatroom at all.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Maybe it might have something to do with the coding in the IRC (or it was just my computer basically messing up).
Why did the chat move? I suppose it's generally not my business, but it just up and moved with no Board announcement or explanation. Just a note that it had moved. I can't even get onto Blitzed anymore to find out where it moved to, none of the links on the Board or wiki are working. Would it be possible to post the server and room info in this link thread?
Ain't nobody in this community, 'Board or IRC, that doesn't have a right to know what and when things are happening, and why. The reason that I heard was that doppleganger troll, the one who was signing in with Data's name (and on here, presumably the same person, Aster's). The new server (irc.sorcery.net) should fix that by way of being more strict with registered nicks.
The channel name, #PPC, is the same, and I think there's a note on the topic of the old channel on Blitzed; the new one is just on irc.sorcery.net instead of irc.blitzed.org.
Hope that helps, very sorry for confusion.
There does seem to be something up with the link from the board, if that's what you were using. I just tried it out, and it took nearly twenty minutes trying to look up my hostname, with no luck.
I'm able to get into the IRC. I'm a bit skeptical about it, though; so I would have to make sure it doesn't happen again in the meantime.
has been happening to me for the past two days or so. I wonder if there is something wrong with the server.

that's what has been having issues. I don't know how to work with IRCs and I never bookmarked the channel so I've just been coming here to click the link when I wanted to get on.
To my knowledge, there's nothing wrong with the channel, but we've been making a lot of changes lately, trying to bring everything up to where people agree it should be, giving the Bot its guidelines, etc. So perhaps that's why it's been rocky?
Other than that, I think the Board link is a job for our Nameless Admin, seeing as s/he is the only one who can fix such things.
