We are glad you enjoyed it! It was something that we had thought up for another reason originally, but eventually adapted into this.

McKaLoy's Fortnight
What could possibly happen when a McKay based mini-Wraith takes apart the RA? Miah and Cadmar arrive a bit late from the Sateda mission.
"So at no time, did you think, ‘Hey. Bringing this particular mini home would, I don’t know, BE A BAD IDEA?"
Thank you to our betas: GuvnorofSpace, Datajunkie, VM, Mike, and MisterShoebox.
Thank you for the cameo, Dann!
Hmm. Maria's inherent vampiric villainy is starting to show . . . I guess she's been more or less starving for the missing two weeks, since Mark won't let her feed on himself?
But speaking of those two weeks, I'm honestly a little lost here. I don't understand what caused Miah and Cadmar to miss two weeks of HQ time, or what that has to do with the plothole in Miah's RC (or why Dann was angry at Miah and Cali? It really doesn't seem like they did anything to cause it . . .) Did I miss something?
Ah, darn. We were hoping it wouldn't end up being easily missed. Sorry about the confusion!
Basically, McKaLoy messed with the RA, and instead of it jumping them forward two weeks in the fic only, it jumped them two weeks forward in HQ time as well. I assume there would be some safeties in place to prevent that from happening, and McKaLoy most likely disabled them an forgot to turn them back on.
Considering some portal jumps span years or months, that could be a major problem, suddenly being in the PPC of the future. Neat idea actually, an agent from early PPC ends up in nowaday PPC...
And I'm quite sure that a RC 40% actually exists in HQ...
The interlude was very funny, good job!
