I know I only just arrived here a few short hours ago, but I want to ask for Permission to Write. Here's links to samples of my more recent writing, for proof that I do sort of know what I'm doing: The Flag, and Something to Live For. Both are Redwall fics.
Name: Al (Alex)
Age: 17
Species: Human
Home Continuum: World One
Department: Mary-Sue Dept.
Partner: Aaron
Fandoms: Redwall, The Hunger Games, Maximum Ride, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson and the Olympians
Lust-Objects: Pasque, Katniss, Max, Luna, Annabeth
Favorites: goodfic, weapons, all things military, music
Weapons: anything he can lay his hands on- prefers knives though, as they're universal and therefore work in every continuum. He also likes guns. He loves guns.
Al came to the PPC one day while he was out hunting. You see, an Agent had been about to leave on a mission when his Portal decided that day was a good day to break. It opened on World One, directly under Al and the large deer he'd been trying to shove into a game bag. Al fell in, deer, shotgun and all, and flew out of the Agent's Portal, bowling him over. Al's weapon went off and wounded both him and the unfortunate Agent. The Portal then sputtered out completely. The Agent dragged Al to the Medical Department, where they were promptly patched up. Al made the decision to stay at HQ instead of going back home. He was partnered with Agent Aaron- who was, coincidentally, across the hall from the Agent whose RC he'd originally crashed into. He sometimes jokingly counts staying as one of the dumbest decisions he's ever made, but he really loves the job, even if it is stressful. RC number is 587-902

Name: Aaron
Age: 17
Species: Human
Home Continuum: World One
Department: Mary-Sue Dept.
Partner: Al
Fandoms: Redwall, The Hunger Games, Maximum Ride, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, LotR
Lust-Objects: Arwen
Favorites: goodfic, weapons, food, video games
Weapons: lead pipes, sub-machine guns, switchblades, and revolvers
Aaron has a far different backstory than Al up there. Aaron was dropped through a plothole- which appeared under his toilet while he was using it. He had a rather embarrassing entry into HQ, as you can imagine. He wound up working in the Department of Mary-Sues after he found out where he was. His last partner died in the line of duty shortly before Al arrived. RC is 587-902, obviously.
This whole, "No, you cannot write PPC, we don't know you" thing happens quite often (or happened quite often, it may have changed) to people.
But if you try try try again, I'm not kidding, you'll probably succeed. Most people do.
I'm happy to hear all this encouragement. It means a lot to me. At the moment, I'm expanding my areas of expertise so I can spork a greater range of badfics. The more the merrier, they say.
As to my seeming obsession with the Redneck Trees... Well, the sporkings of That Series are something that stuck with me. I'm not really obsessed, although I was sort of conflicted between feeling sorry for Raketooth (what a way to go) and cheering the Burnsie on for that (because he's a pointless rapist bit-character, plus the irony). I know now that it's been forbidden as an execution method because of her. I don't know how she can wear something as a cloak when... when that's happened to it though. But I suppose it must still be a neat souvenir.
...so no problems here. :)

That is... Understandable. And I really do need to tidy up Al and Aaron's profiles a bit. Guns and PPC agents don't mix, I now remember. Unless it's a railgun and Agent Drake. Or the continuum is appropriate. Maximum Ride, Death Note, and The Hunger Games would be gun-friendly. PJO might be- Annabeth's father is recorded as having used an old Sopwith Camel to wipe out an entire army, and Piper was offered a shotgun. But Redwall... Not so much. LotR would be a big no-no for guns. As much as I love firearms, I suppose the PPC isn't the place.
I will try again later though. In the meantime, I'll still be around. Posting now and then, maybe pointing out fics good or bad here, there, or everywhere.
Well, I suppose it's about time I got around to sleeping. I don't even care if I dream about Redneck Trees, I can't subsist on chocolate, coffee, and alcohol forever...
...Which doesn't have to do with the permission request you made at all.
But could you please stop focusing/obsessing so much with the Redneck Trees and the use of them?
It's kinda disturbing on your part- to me at least- and also an extreme, extreme outlier that does not reflect the community or its attitudes at all, which is why I said you should read more missions.
Beyond that, if your agents are going to stick entirely to canons that are gun-friendly, I see no reason to flail about them having guns. I didn't mention or correct anything you indicated about that agent pair you showed because there was nothing to correct or mention that particularly stuck out at this moment.
You're not the only one waiting for a month to spork a badfic. I'm passing my time by writing a fic and proofreading fics in other sites (I don't do it in fanfiction.net though). Anyway, have a nice time waiting, Sarge!
It's not so much "Wait one month, then apply," as "Wait until you are more confident with your knowledge and understanding of the PPC Canon and your writing skills, and we as a community are more familiar with you." One month is sort of just a number to illustrate how much time that sometimes takes, but definitely don't hang on it.
