Hell. It's about time.
I had my doubts when I first saw the link during my foray into the Pit. As a general rule, dark and violent material does not mix with lighthearted and cutesy stuff. This one, however, makes it seem plausible.
I actually enjoyed this one, but the fic seems to struggle at times with too much description and exposition at times. As far as I can tell, all Starcraft things are accurately represented and people are in-character. As I only have a rudimentary knowledge of MLP canon, I can't really judge that aspect (though it seems well done).
The story can be found on his DeviantArt, which is updated more frequently than his FFN.

Just because "people are in-character," that doesn't mean it's a good crossover. Especially since it's highly implausible that ponies start shooting each other or Starcraftians (?) solve their problems with friendship.
There are things that just don't fit.
Also, MLP is barely crossable. I mean, how do you explain ponies? -
