Does the PPC have any standard procedure for dealing with trolls? The current imposter is getting annoying and may end driving off newbies. It nearly got me to leave.

All we can do is ignore him.
But this is rather more nakedly hostile than is really comfortable, even for a troll. If all we can do is ignore them (or snark at them), it's a far better course than getting nasty.

It's a pretty poor attempt, anyway. The whole point of trolling is to get a rise out of others but all I can say in this post is that I seriously feel bad for them and hope their lived improve. This is all kind of pathetic and pitiful.
It is indeed quite annoying. Fortunately, though, we do have some recourse in the form of the Nameless Admin, who will no doubt deal with it as soon as s/he has time. Meanwhile, I suggest we all go about our business as normally as possible. Don't Feed the Trolls, after all.
