Well, nice to meet you! Really, there's nothing to worry about. Rejecting people really isn't the PPC way. You might as well brace yourself for a series of odd gifts, because the welcome committee is going to be making its rounds soon.
And by 'committee' I mean 'pretty much anybody who decides to reply to this thread.' We're not an incredibly regimented bunch. :)
I don't know how to start this, but here's my best shot.
I've been Troping around recently and came across the page of the PCC. I see myself as a 'purist' Fan Fiction writer who tries as much as possible to adhere to canon standards, and seeing as reading through the trope page I got more and more interested, I would like to join the PPC. I do not have many credentials to speak of, but as rule 14 of my page states, Canon resemblance is (one of) my top priorities.
If I do not, then may I at least offer some of my fan fiction works to be tested by whomever is the expert in those fandoms.

I am no stranger to seeing badfics, having endured my way through some of them. I would also like to see if I can handle myself in the badfics that have made the Trope page and if 'retirement from sanity' is really that common.

Whenever a Boarder misspells their name, a mini of them appears (http://ppc.wikia.com/wiki/Mini-Boarder). Aster below me has three "t"s in her name. It's all in good fun, of course. Nothing serious.
Oh, and watch the vacuum cleaner: it tends to gasp for air and wheeze while in use.

Sorry, I have a tendency to start formal then work my way down into comfortable yammering and lecturing about YGO-related stuff. Also lurked around the wiki and noticed there isn't a YGO OFU. dunno how to start one, but I'd like it if someone did.
I'd participate! Little 13-year-old me wrote horrible Yu-Gi-Oh badfic. My poor, poor first fandom...
As is me, but I've gotten around 600 reviews for it.
Chaos, Thy Name is Chibi. 65 chapters, 650 or so reviews. Why it's so loved, I dunno...maybe it's because of the fact it's filled with chibies.
I Got Better though. XD
